Day two TBD
A day in the city
Breakfast, a walk, and time to explore the city before we head north.
Sights include the beaches, the golden gate bridge, Alamo square park, Alcatraz and many museums to pick from.
Meet up late afternoon to explore and have dinner in china town or north beach.
Day three TBD
Drive to the redwoods
Gather in the morning and prepare transport and supplies for the redwoods. Roughly two hours from the city. Check into the cabins in the afternoon.
Day four TBD
The celebration
Explore the ancient forest. Lots to see and do. Trails, biking, horse riding, rock climbing, nature.
Ceremony under the trees in the afternoon, family bbq and dancing after.

A day to relax
More to do? Wine tasting, local cities to explore or just relax on the river front.
Day six TBD
Breakfast and headed home
Slow morning at the cabins before we all gather up to head back to San Francisco.

Travel
Fly into SFO or Oakland. Both are a short ride from the city, and both have rental cars.
You will want a car for the journey into the redwoods. We are planning a group minibus or two so we don't have to all drive. If you want to explore on your own, I recommend you bring a car.

What to wear
Whatever makes you feel good, with shoes that can handle a forest floor. Evenings under the trees get cold, so bring a layer. Comfort first!
